Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ApplyDocket (the “Service”), operated by ApplyDocket LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old to use ApplyDocket.
2. Description of Service
ApplyDocket is a subscription-based, AI-powered resume builder that helps users create, tailor, and export professional resumes. Features include AI-assisted content generation, resume templates, PDF export, and job application tracking. Access to premium features requires an active paid subscription.
3. Accounts and Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update that information to keep it accurate. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
ApplyDocket Pro is available for $19.00 per month, billed monthly. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until that date. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details. Refunds are provided at our discretion — please contact us at support@applydocket.com if you have a billing concern.
5. AI-Generated Content
ApplyDocket uses Anthropic’s Claude AI to assist in generating and refining resume content. AI-generated suggestions are provided as a starting point and may not always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific situation. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before submitting your resume to any employer. We make no guarantee that use of our Service will result in employment or interview success.
6. User Content and Data
You retain ownership of all content you submit to ApplyDocket, including your personal information, work history, and resume data (“User Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your resume data is processed by Anthropic’s API when you use AI-powered features; please review Anthropic’s Privacy Policy for more information.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include: submitting false or misleading information; using the Service to generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal; attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent any security feature; sharing your account with others; or using the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
8. Intellectual Property
The ApplyDocket name, logo, website design, templates, and underlying software are owned by ApplyDocket LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without our prior written consent. User Content remains your property as described in Section 6.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, APPLYDOCKET LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES OR RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your resume data before cancelling your account.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Utah County, Utah.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
